In the mountainous areas of southwestern Serbia, a location scouting is underway for the Balcanica project, a debut feature by the Italian director Nicola Sorcinelli.
Balcanica tells the story of the Afghan musician Jalil and his father Nazar, who in search of political asylum travel the Balkans route to Italy, where they are planning to have a concert with their music band.
The project is an Italian-Serbian co-production between Nightswim and This and That.
